CE-SPA is a chitosan-based clarifier blended with CV-600 enzymes, specifically formulated for hot tubs and spas. The enzymes remove non-living organic waste and oils; the chitosan attracts particles to be filtered out. Removing organic waste is our Second Pillar of Proactive Pool Care.
CE-SPA Clarifier, like all Orenda Products, is all-natural: no synthetic polymers or dyes.
Hot tubs and spas have warm, agitated water. Normally those conditions cause excess bubbling and sometimes foaming with Orenda enzymes like CV-600 or even CE-Clarifier. CE-SPA was formulated specifically for these conditions to minimize the foaming and still deliver the results needed for clean water.
SPA-500 is a concentrated, enzyme scrub for spa and hot tub systems. It helps to flush out non-living organics for removal when draining.
Follow bottle directions for a deep clean before refilling. SPA-500 uses CV-600 enzymes to break down and remove non-living waste.

CE-SPA Directions
Initial dose for cloudy water: Add two (2) ounces per 500 gallons of water. Please allow the spa/hot tub to circulate for at least 5-10 minutes after the addition of CE-SPA. Check circulation and filter pressure 2-3 hours after initial dosing, and clean filter if necessary.
Maintenance dose: Add one (1) ounce per 500 gallons of water, weekly.
SPA-500 Directions
- Shake the bottle well before adding.
- Remove the filter from the system and clean it separately.
- Turn on the Spa/Hot Tub circulation and jets.
- Pour SPA-500 directly into the body of water (8oz. per 500 gallons of water).
- Run system with all jets/pumps turned on for 5-10 minutes.
- After 5-10 minutes, turn the system off for another 5-10 minutes.
- After being off for 5-10 minutes, turn the whole system back on for another 5-10 minutes.
- After 5-10 minutes of the whole system running, turn the system off and drain the water from the Spa/Hot Tub.
- While draining the spa, thoroughly rinse the shell and run a water hose through the skimmer/suction line.
- After Spa/Hot Tub has been completely drained:
- Reinstall cleaned filter.
- Refill with fresh water.
- Adjust chemistry to Spa/Hot Tub manufacturer’s specifications. You can use the Orenda App to help with this.
